Classic Cowboy Casserole

We present to you the recipe for the classic cowboy dish as follows:

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 1 medium onion, diced

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup

  • 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes with green chilies, drained

  • 1 cup frozen corn

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots

  • Salt and pepper

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Cook Beef: Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain any excess fat.

  3. Add Vegetables: Add diced onion and minced garlic. Cook until softened.

  4. Combine Ingredients: Stir in cream of mushroom soup, diced tomatoes, frozen corn, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

  5. Assemble Casserole: Pour the beef mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Sprinkle with shredded cheese.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground turkey or beef

  • 1 small onion, diced

  • 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed

  • 1 can (10 oz) enchilada sauce

  • 1 cup shredded Mexican blend cheese

  • 1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven: Set oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. Cook Meat: In a skillet, cook ground turkey or beef with diced onion until browned.

  3. Add Beans & Sauce: Stir in black beans and enchilada sauce. Let simmer for 5 minutes.

  • 1 medium onion, diced

  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup

  • 1 cup sour cream

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 4 green onions, chopped

  • 1 bag (32 oz) frozen hash brown potatoes or tater tots

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven: Heat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Cook Sausage: Brown sausage with diced onion in a skillet. Drain the grease.

  3. Mix Ingredients: In a bowl, combine cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and cheddar cheese. Add the cooked sausage and onion.

  4. Assemble Dish: Spread the mixture into a greased baking dish. Top with tater tots or hash browns.

  5. Bake: Cook for 30–35 minutes until golden and bubbling.
